Overview
The Board of Selectmen is the principal executive body of the town. It also has general supervision over all matters not delegated by law or vote to some other official or board.
The Board of Selectmen is made up of five elected members. They are elected for three-year terms on a staggered basis.
The Selectmen are responsible for appointing residents to many of the Town's boards or commissions.
The Town Manager reports to the Selectmen Board and carries out their policies.
