Strawberry Valley Golf Course Committee

Overview
Strawberry Valley is Abington's municipal golf course consisting of 9-holes. It is located at 164 Washington Street (Route 18) in Abington. It is the home of the very successful Abington High School Golf Team. Go Greenwave!
The course is home to several golf leaves in the morning and afternoon. It welcomes new leagues and fundraising events/tournaments.
Each October, the course holds an 'Appreciation Day' that includes free golf (9 holes) and a small gift.
Mission
Our mission is to provide members, guests, and visitors with a quality golfing experience within a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This we will do with a team of well-trained and highly motivated staff, working together to make our course an enjoyable and affordable course to golf and socialize. The golf course is always our main priority.
The Strawberry Golf Course Committee is responsible for overseeing the management of the golf course. This involves the operation, the staff, the equipment and its maintenance, the quality of the actual golf course property.
The SVGC is responsible for assisting with the yearly budget and the capital improvements.

To provide a course in which all members can enjoy the benefits of good golf and fellowship.
To strive to exceed the expectations of visiting clubs and societies, our members and their guests through its facilities and event organization.
To provide a positive work environment, training, and career opportunities.
To manage the finances for the long-term benefit of its members, and its long-term survival.
To be committed to continuous improvement through pro-active course management.
