The final treatment to address the invasive plants in Island Grove and restore its natural aquatic ecosystem was completed. Water and Wetland, a lake, pond, and wetland management company used the liquid herbicide, Sonar Genesis, which is safe for the native animals, to treat the pond. Removing the invasive plants will help increase the oxygenation of the water to help fish, other animals and plants thrive in their natural habitat.  Read the biologists report for more information.
