FIRST RESPONDERS RECOGNIZED

At the May 20th Selectman Meeting, Abington's Board of Selectmen had the honor of recognizing the brave first responders who were involved in the structural fire at the large apartment building located at 500 North Quincy Street in Abington on April 20, 2024. Their fast response, dedication, and commitment to Abington residents saved lives and property. As a Town, we are proud to have each one of them as our first responders.

Sixteen individuals were awarded both local and state-level citations from the Board of Selectman and Representative Alyson Almedia-Sullivan.
