Island Grove Swimming Pool Opens June 22
Kick off the summer and join Abington Park and Recreation Department's Island Grove Opening Day Celebration on June 22 from 11AM - 1PM. Swimming is free for everyone, there will be games and some summer treats!
Fast Facts about Swimming at Island Grove
Island Grove is a historical location which is a hub of activity for residents especially throughout the summer. The Grove can be accessed via Park Street which has ample on street parking or by Wilson Place.

weekdays: 9 AM – 5 PM
weekends: 11 AM – 5 PM
Residents and non-residents can swim at Island Grove by either purchasing a membership or day pass at the Snack Shack.

Swimming Lessons
Swim lessons are available for children four years of age and older. The grove uses Water and Safety skills outlined by the American Red Cross Progressive Swimming courses as its primary teaching guide. levels being offered during summer 2024. Learn more and register on on MyRec.com.
