Abington Planning Department Secures $560k in Grant Funding
The Town of Abington has recently secured $560,000 in grant funding to support three important projects in town. This critical funding was awarded thanks to the incredible efforts of: Liz Shea, our Town Planner; Kevin Cogan, Deputy Planner; and John Stone, DPW Commissioner.
Applying and reporting on grants is a comprehensive process. It starts with program planning, grant identification, and intense applications. If and when a grant is awarded, the reporting can be extensive. Abington is grateful to have our two Town Planning employees skilled in the process.
